【BUNZABURO】is a long-established tie-dyeing shop in Kyoto that has been in business for over 100 years.
At BUNZABURO’s main store, where beautiful products with bumpy shapes and unique forms are on display,
We interviewed Kazuya Katayama, the fourth generation owner of the shop.
He majored in science and engineering at university, and after that, he worked for a confectionery brand. Kazuya has a unique background, having taken over the reigns of the family from a man who had nothing to do with apparel or kimono. The contents of this interview are filled with valuable stories.
