京都紋付の染め替えプロジェクトを始めました。
– 大切な服を甦らせる –
成人式の日にお父さんから貰ったジャケット。
ママから貰った祖母の大切な洋服。
娘や息子、孫がくれた思い出ある衣類など、家には色々な思いが詰まった衣類が眠っています。
また凄く気に入っているけれど、色褪せてしまって機会が減ってしまっている、デザインは気に入っているけれど色が少し古臭いなどの洋服があるのも家のタンス事情の一つですよね。
そんな勿体無いを減らす、現代のサスティナブルの社会に応えるかのようなプロジェクト。
京都紋付の黒染め染め替えプロジェクトです。
– Bringing back to life a treasured piece of clothing –
The jacket your father gave you on your coming-of-age day.
A jacket given to you by your father on your coming-of-age day, or a piece of clothing given to you by your mother that your grandmother cherished.
There are clothes filled with memories given to you by your daughters, sons, and grandchildren.
Another problem is that there are clothes that you like very much but have faded away and you have fewer opportunities to wear them, or clothes that you like the design of but the color is a bit old-fashioned.
This project is a response to today’s sustainable society by reducing such waste.
This is the Kyoto Montsuki Black Dyeing and Re-Dyeing Project.
– 黒を染め続けて100年以上 –
青や赤、黄色や緑などの色は誤魔化しが効く色ですが、黒だけは絶対に誤魔化せない。値段に応じた色が黒なのはご存知だと思いますが、京都で紋付袴を染めて100年以上の老舗、京都紋付株式会社。
少しでも無駄な衣類を少なくしたい、思い出深い洋服を蘇らせてあげたいという思いで活動されており、今では数多くのブランドさんがこの染め替えプロジェクトに賛同されてきています。
– We’ve been dyeing black for over 100 years –
Colors such as blue, red, yellow and green are deceiving colors, but only black can never be fooled. You know that black is the color according to price. Kyoto Montsuki Co., Ltd. has been dyeing montsuke hakama in Kyoto for more than 100 years.
They have been working to reduce the amount of wasted clothing and revive memorable clothing as much as possible, and now numerous brands have supported this dyeing project.
– 全てがコットンだから真っ黒が可能 –
以前から山城でもご要望のあった染め替え。
京紫色が洗濯で薄紫になって、、、
クタクタなんですが着心地が最高に良いんで、、、
漂白剤が飛んでしまって家着になってしまった、、、
こんなご相談と染め替えプロジェクトを繋げれたら良いなと思い、今回山城と京都紋付さんでタッグを組むに至りました。
山城の協力工場さんで、どんな色にも染められるとはいえ、お客様から頂いた希望の色を満たすことも難しく、1枚からだと恐ろしく高い物になってしまう現状がありましたが、この染め替えプロジェクトならTシャツは3,000円ほどから染め替えてアップデートしていただける。
それに山城製品は生地が綿１００％や麻１００％は当たり前なので、染め替えとは相性は良いのは確実ですし、縫っている表糸は全て”綿糸“を使っているので、染め上げた時に糸だけ”白く残った“という問題もゼロ。
京都紋付ならではのピュアブラックを楽しんで頂けます。

We thought it would be great if we could connect this kind of consultation with a re-dyeing project, which is why Yamashiro and Kyoto Montsuki decided to team up this time.
Although Yamashiro’s partner factories can dye in a variety of colors, it is difficult for them to meet customers’ color preferences, and the cost of a single piece of T-shirt would be terribly expensive.
In addition, Yamashiro products are made of 100% cotton or 100% linen, so it is true that the dyeing process is very compatible with this dyeing process.
You can enjoy the pure black color unique to Kyoto montsuki.

– もう一度あの服を着よう –
色褪せたあのお気に入りを真っ黒に染めあげるのは、何もTシャツやシャツだけではありません。
コート、スカート、ジャケット、スウェットシャツ、ワンピース、ドレス、パンツやデニム、鞄やキャップも真っ黒に染めていただけます。
但し、山城製品はほぼ全ての縫製糸を綿糸を使っていますが、他メーカー様の糸は大体スパン糸と呼ばれる化学糸を使って縫製しておられるので、この場合は真っ黒に染めても糸だけは染まらない。
これが良い味としてのステッチだと感じる方は良いのですが、全て真っ黒になると思っていたので残念だという方もおられると思います。
そこはご注文された京都紋付様のご担当者様とご相談いただければと思いますし、WEBサイトでどんな物が染まって、どんな物が染められないかなどをご確認いただければと思います。

It’s not just T-shirts and shirts that can be dyed black for your faded favorites.
Coats, skirts, jackets, sweatshirts, dresses, pants, denim, bags, and caps can also be dyed black.
However, almost all Yamashiro products use cotton threads for sewing threads, while other makers generally use chemical threads called spun threads for sewing, so in this case, only the threads are not dyed even if they are dyed pitch black.
This is fine for those who feel this is a good taste of stitching thread, but there are those who are disappointed because they thought everything would be completely black. Please consult with the person in charge at Kyoto Montsuki who placed the order, or check the website to see what items can be dyed and what items cannot be dyed.
